Laboratory trials and pilot-scale tests are still essential today when it comes to the development of new products, extrapolation of small-scale results to production scale and the continuous monitoring of the results of the production process. During the development stage and before configuring the large-scale systems, it is necessary to obtain well-founded information about the behaviour of products under real processing conditions at an early stage. We offer you suitable trial equipment on a laboratory or pilot scale, turnkey systems for trials to be carried out on your premises, know-how about processes and optimal application and, of course, our many years of experience in this field.
Our mobile pilot mixers and dryers are suitable for processing volumes ranging from 150 ml to 175 litres, can be transported without problems and offer the same comprehensive range of functions and equipment as our production-scale conical mixers and dryers. We therefore like to lend out all-in-one test systems so that tests can be conducted at the site where the product, the experience and the necessary installations can be combined to handle the products safely.
You will carry out individual tests or comprehensive test series on your premises with the guidance and assistance of a test engineer. We will tell you how to make optimal use of our test devices and let you document process parameters such as pressure, temperature, speed, degree of mixing, residual humidity, etc.
On the basis of these well-founded test results and the information provided by you, we will jointly work out a detailed scale-up for the economically viable design of your future BOLZ-SUMMIX systems, to determine how the best possible product quality can be obtained, the performance maximised and even the strictest technical and process requirements can be adhered to without taking shortcuts. The definition of optimal parameters, the calculation of the mixing and drying times to be expected, or an estimate for the mechanical configuration are just part of our day-to-day business.
